We are a historic building, built in 1966, and the oldest residential high rise building in all of Downtown Houston.

Houston House offers studio, one, and two, bedroom apartments with open layouts, large windows, and modern finishes designed for comfortable city living.

What amenities are available for residents?

Residents can enjoy features such Community HighSpeed Bulk Internet, recently renovated modern clubroom lounge, indoor and outdoor gaming areas, 9th floor outdoor deck and swimming pool with lounge area and grills, full sized recreational basketball court, on-site laundry facilities, 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, conference room and theater room.

No, only the fitness center and laundry facilities are open 24 hours.

Is the community pet-friendly?

Yes. Houston House welcomes cats and dogs and is located near parks and pet care providers to support an active lifestyle with pets. Maximum of 2 pets, no weight limit and breed restrictions apply.

Yes.

Do you have pet amenities?

No, but we are right next door to TreblyPark which offers a dog park in walking distance.

We require third-party income verification, and we do rental verifications for current or prior residence.

What are the income or credit requirements?

Income requirements are 2.5x the rent, credit requirements are case-by-case.

Is renters insurance required?

Yes.

How long does the approval process take?

Depending on how quickly an applicant can complete their income verification through the third party verification company, and on how quickly we can get the rental verification back.

Yes.

What lease terms do you offer?

Lease terms range from 3-15 months.

What is required on move-in day?

Rent payment, executed signed lease contract, deposit paid whether through Jetty or paying deposit cash, and renters insurance.

Do you allow subletting or lease transfers?

No subletting, but we do allow lease transfers if the added individual qualifies.

What is your move-out policy?

We require a 60-day written notice prior to move out, keys & forwarding address should be provided at move out.

Which utilities are included in rent?

None, everything is billed separately but it is billed through the community.

What utilities am I responsible for?

Residents are responsible for paying trash hauling at $13, trash door-to-door at $18, pest control at $5, internet at $65 & water, sewer, gas, and electricity based on allocated usage.

When is rent due and what payment methods are accepted?

Rent is due on the 1st of the month, and only online payments and cashier checks are accepted.
